Spring Airlines starts five new routes to Japan

Spring Airlines

Spring Airlines’ first flight from Xi’an to Osaka Kansai departed the Chinese airport at just before 22:00 with a full load of passengers. It was one of three new routes to Osaka launched by the airline that day, the others being from Chengdu and Jinjiang.

  • Spring Airlines has considerably enhanced its connections to Japan with the launch of five new routes during the last week, four of them to Osaka Kansai (KIX). All routes are served with between two and four weekly flights using the airline’s fleet of A320s. None of the four routes to Osaka face direct competition. However, the airline’s new route from Shanghai Pudong (PVG) to Asahikawa (AKJ) is already served by China Eastern Airlines. According to the airline’s website, Spring Airlines now serves Osaka from 10 airports in China.
