  • Blue Air commenced its second route to Liverpool (LPL) on 31 March, this time from its Bacau (BCM) base. The 2,248-kilometre sector will be operated twice-weekly (Thursdays and Saturdays), using the airline’s 162-seat 737-400s. No other carrier serves this sector, while Blue Air already flies to Liverpool from Bucharest with thrice-weekly departures. This summer the Romanian LCC will fly to nine destinations from Bacau; four in Italy, two in the UK and one each in Belgium, France and Ireland.
