Wizz Air introduces five new airport pairs
On 31 March, Katowice Airport commemorated Wizz Air’s inaugural flight to Belfast International Airport with a special ceremony in the terminal.

On 4 April, Malta Airport celebrated with a cake and traditional singers the start of Wizz Air’s twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Saturdays) flights from Warsaw Chopin Airport. The first flight took off from the Polish airport at 19:30 with 120 passengers on board.

- Wizz Air, which during the course of last week expanded its European offering with seven routes, continued to add five more routes this week launched from Gdansk (GDN), Katowice (KTW) and Warsaw Chopin (WAW), all of which are operated by its 180-seat A320s. The Hungarian ULCC will face no competition on any of the five new additions.
