Jeju Air starts first route to Taiwan

Jeju Air celebrated the launch of its first route to Taiwan on 8 April. The daily service from Busan will compete against Air Busan and China Airlines.

  • Jeju Air, on 8 April began daily flights between Busan (PUS) and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE). The 1,344-kilometre route will be operated by the airline’s 737-800s and will face competition from China Airlines (twice-daily flights) and Air Busan (10 weekly flights). This is the airline’s first route to Taiwan. Apart from Taipei, Jeju Air also serves Bangkok, Fukuoka, Guam, Osaka and Shijiazhuang from Busan, as well as the domestic route to Jeju.
