flynas links two capital cities

A huge cake was baked to commemorate the start of flynas’ daily flights between two capital cities – Riyadh and Cairo.

  • flynas, the Saudi Arabian LCC, has added another point on its network this week, and at the same time linked the capital cities of Saudi Arabia and Egypt – namely Riyadh (RUH) and Cairo (CAI). Launched on 29 April, the daily service will be operated by the airline’s 150-seat A320s. Competition from the incumbents – EGYPTAIR and Saudi Arabian Airlines – will be intense, as both offer multiple daily frequencies on the 1,609-kilometre sector (thrice- and twice-daily respectively).
