Having fun by the seaside after their trip up from Münster/Osnabrück to Sylt were: Detlef Döbberthin, Manager Aviation Marketing, Münster/Osnabrück Airport; and Dr. Harry van Lieshout, Sales Director, AIS Airlines.
- AIS Airlines, the Dutch regional airline, started twice-weekly flights between Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) to Sylt (GWT) – with services operated via Bremen. The new route to the German leisure island began on 30 April, operated by AIS’ 19-seat Jetstream 32s. Ordinarily the route will fly every weekend on Fridays and Sundays, however on public holidays, like last weekend, the flight will operate on Thursdays or the return flight will be Mondays to enable a longer weekend on the island. No competing airline operates this city pair.
