  • Azerbaijan Airlines has added Berlin Tegel (TXL) to its growing network of destinations in Western Europe. On 2 May, the national carrier launched twice-weekly flights (Wednesdays and Saturdays) from Baku (GYD) to the German capital, a sector length of 3,071 kilometres. No other carrier operates this route which will be flown using a mix of the airline’s A320s and A321s. Azerbaijan Airlines already serves London (Heathrow), Milan (Malpensa), Paris (CDG) and Rome (Fiumicino), as well as three destinations in Turkey. See how Berlin Tegel Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
