The inaugural passengers celebrate the launch of Pegasus Airlines’ new four times weekly service to Nice by posing with a giant boarding pass. Commemorating services by cutting the cake are: Airport Commercial Aviation Director, Asiyat Khasanova; and Pegasus Airlines’ Corporate Communication Manager, Didem Cengiz Gürsel; alongside the inaugural passengers, and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen executives.
- On 22 May, Pegasus Airlines launched services between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and Nice (NCE). The 1,836-kilometre sector will operate four times weekly, using a mixture of its 180-seat A320s and 189-seat 737-800s. Pegasus will face no direct competition on the route, but does face indirect competition from Turkish Airlines, who operate a twice-daily service from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to Nice.
