SunExpress lands in Memmingen

SunExpress’ Network Planning Manager, Henning Lindemann; and, Memmingen Airport Aviation Director, Marcel Schütz, celebrated the arrival of the inaugural flight from Antalya by greeting the crew with a rather impressive cookie, instead of the usual cake. The airline will fly the sector twice-weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

  • On 22 May, SunExpress launched its latest route from Antalya (AYT), Turkey, with twice-weekly service (Tuesdays and Fridays) to Memmingen (FMM), in Germany. Operated by the airline’s 737-800’s, the 2,078-kilometre faces no direct competition. This latest route means that SunExpress now serves 20 German airports from its Antalya hub according to OAG Schedules Analyser data.
