Aegean Airlines adds two new routes from Rhodes

Services between Rhodes and Stuttgart began on 23 May, operating twice-weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays).

  • Aegean Airlines launched two new services from Rhodes (RHO) this week, all operated using the airline’s 168-seat A320s, starting on Friday 22 May with new weekly service to Vienna (VIE). From 29 May, the service will operate twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays). The 1,605-kilometre sector faces direct competition from Austrian Airlines (twice-weekly, Thursdays and Sundays), NIKI (twice-weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays) and TUIfly with weekly service on Thursdays. On 23 May, Aegean launched new twice-weekly service (Wednesdays and Saturdays) to Stuttgart (STR). The 2,050-kilometre sector faces direct competition from TUIfly with four times weekly service, Condor with three times weekly service and SunExpress Germany with weekly service on Tuesdays. Both of the routes complement the recently launched service between Rhodes and Amsterdam on 16 May.
