Allegiant Air adds Akron/Canton and Memphis to its network

Passengers at Akron/Canton Airport were welcomed to a special beach party to help celebrate Allegiant’s first flights from the Ohio airport to Savannah and St. Pete-Clearwater. Golf balls were hidden in the sand as passengers searched to find the winning balls to receive a free vacation. Arriving passengers were welcomed to Akron/Canton with Allegiant themed cupcakes.

Allegian Cake

Passengers in Savannah were greeted with a very warm welcome from this sunny cake.

  • Allegiant Air began five new services this week. On 21 May, new services began from Akron/Canton (CAK) to St Pete-Clearwater (PIE) and Savannah (SAV). These are the first two routes by Allegiant from the north-east Ohio airport. On 22 May, Memphis (MEM) joined the Allegiant network with the addition of three routes. All the new routes are either served twice or three times weekly using the airline’s MD-80s, with only one of the new services facing direct competition. See how Memphis Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
