Volotea launches eight new routes

Volotea Pisa

Cutting the cake in Menorca: Salome Cabrera Rosello, Interim Tourism Councillor, Consell Insular de Menorca; Lázaro Ros, Volotea; and Tomás Melgar Noguera, Menorca Airport Director.

  • Volotea launched eight new routes this week, starting on 29 May with flights from Athens (ATH) to Santorini (JTR), and Pisa (PSA). Of the new services, three will face direct competition, most notably on the new four times weekly sector from Athens to Santorini, which sees intense competition from Aegean Airlines (56 times a week), Ryanair (14 times a week), and Ellinair (six times weekly), who begin service on 15 June. The rest of the new airport pairs will operate on a twice-weekly basis, with all routes operated by the airline’s 717s. See how Menorca Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world
