- airBaltic launched its latest destination from Riga (RIX) on 5 June with service to Thessaloniki (SKG). The 1,823-kilometre sector will operate twice-weekly (Fridays and Sundays) using a mixture of the airline’s 737-300s and 737-500s. The city pair will face direct competition in the form of Ellinair, who also operate twice-weekly services according to OAG Schedules Analyser data.
