Emirates connects Denpasar to Dubai

Emirates held a press conference for the launch of daily flights to Denpasar which was headed by: Ida Bagus Ngurah Wijaya, Chairman of Bali Tourism Board; Prof. I Gede Pitana, Deputy Minister for Resource Development, Indonesian Ministry of Tourism; Barry Brown, Emirates’ Divisional SVP, Commercial Operations East; and Satish Sethi, Emirates Indonesia Country Manager.

  • Emirates launched destination #146 from its Dubai (DXB) hub on 3 June with a daily service to Denpasar (DPS). The new 7,487-kilometre sector will operate using the airline’s two-class 777-300ERs. The airport pair will face no direct competition according to OAG Schedules Analyser data. Barry Brown, Emirates’ Divisional SVP, Commercial Operations East, commented at the inaugural flight press conference by saying: “We look forward to connecting passengers from Denpasar to Dubai, and onward to more than 80 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas via one convenient stop at our world-class hub.”
