- Vueling linked two of its most important country markets again this week, with the commencing of two routes joining Spain and Italy, which became city pairs #38 and #39 between the two nations in the process. First up was a weekly (Saturdays) service between Barcelona (BCN) and Trieste (TRS) on 13 June. This was followed the next day by the start of weekly (Sundays) operations from Palma de Mallorca (PMI) to Turin (TRN). Both routes are flown by the LCC’s 180-seat A320s and neither faces any direct competition. See how Trieste Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
