- Germania started its third link to Beirut (BEY) on 1 July, adding Hamburg (HAM) to it’s existing operations from Düsseldorf and Berlin Schönefeld. The weekly (Wednesdays) service is flown by the airline’s 149-seat 737-700s. The day before, the carrier commenced weekly flights (Tuesdays) between Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) and Corfu (CFU). The 1,679-kilometre sector will be operated by the airline’s A319 fleet. Neither route faces any direct competition.
