GOL gets going on six new routes

Pulling onto stand in Rosario is the inaugural flight of GOL’s new twice-weekly service from Rio de Janeiro Galeao. Flights will operate with 737-800s, and be flown on Thursdays and Sundays.
- GOL launched six new routes between the 2 and 4 of July. Of the new city pairs, only services between Rio de Janeiro Galeao (GIG) and Santiago (SCL) face direct competition. This is in the form of TAM Airlines, which operates a double-daily operation on the 2,934-kilometre sector. The average weekly frequency of the new routes is two.
