Nile Air now serves Baghdad (BGW) following the start of weekly (Fridays) flights on 24 July to the Iraqi capital from Cairo (CAI). The 1,260-kilometre route will be served by the airline’s fleet of four A320s. The airport pair is already served by both EGYPTAIR and Iraqi Airways, who both operate flights between the two capital cities thrice-weekly. According to OAG Schedules Analyser this brings to nine the number of destinations served by Nile Air from Cairo, of which six are in Saudi Arabia. The other two airports served are Kuwait City and Port Sudan.
