SunExpress Germany starts seventh Turkish route from Munich
- SunExpress Germany has expanded its route network from Munich (MUC) with the introduction on 21 July of weekly (Tuesdays) flights to Ankara (ESB). The 1,910-kilometre route to the Turkish capital will be operated just 11 times using the carrier’s 737-800s, with the last flight on 29 September. Competition on the route is provided by Lufthansa which flies double-daily on the airport pair using A321s. This brings to 12 the number of destinations served by the airline from Munich, seven of which are in Turkey. None of these routes are served with more than two weekly flights.
