OneJet commenced operations between Indianapolis (IND) and Nashville (BNA) on 8 September. The 401-kilometre sector will not face any incumbent carriers, and will be flown using OneJet’s seven-seat Hawker 400 jets, catered specifically for business travellers using medium-sized airports. OneJet CEO, Matthew Maguire, said at the announcement of the route: “Nashville has been one of the key destinations demanded by both Indianapolis corporate and community leadership. The addition of Nashville as a destination city is part of the OneJet’s multi-phase expansion plan to grow our network of non-stop regional travel.” The airline now serves a total of four routes from Indianapolis, with Nashville following in the footsteps of launches to Milwaukee, Pittsburgh and Memphis earlier this year.
