‘When you get out onto the apron you need to get on a plane that looks like this’. They may not have been the instructions given to the passengers on the inaugural thrice-weekly Townsville-Rockhampton-Gold Coast service with JETGO Australia on 28 September, but at least it insured a healthy first flight load factor.
- JETGO Australia added three new points onto its growing network of services on 28 September, as it commenced operations on a Townsville (TSV) – Rockhampton (ROK) – Gold Coast (OOL) route. The thrice-weekly connection will be flown by the regional airline’s 37-seat ERJ 135s, and faces no direct competition. These three airports join Brisbane and Tamworth on the airline’s route map, and will be joined by Dubbo and Melbourne on 27 October, when services between the two cities start.
