Proflight Zambia debuts Durban

Proflight Zambia commenced services to Durban from Lusaka on 22 September. The 1,609-kilometre sector will operate thrice-weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays according to OAG Schedules Analyser data.

The 1,609-kilometre sector will operate thrice-weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and be flown using CRJ 100s according to OAG Schedules Analyser data. Although the route does not face any direct competition, South African Airways does offer a very extensive one-stop service via Johannesburg according to its online timetable.

    they do face competition. SA Express have been flying the route for years. However it was also recently converted to a tag on to the Harare flights.

    • Hi Karmen – We are aware that this is the case however, now that it is as you have rightly said ‘a tag on’, it is no longer a direct service. Based on the analysis using our data supplier, only ProFlight Zambia offers direct flights between Durban and Lusaka with a non-stop service.
