Ryanair makes Castellon its 24th Spanish airport
- Ryanair commenced services to Castellon (CDT) on 15 September from London Stansted (STN). This was then followed by flights from Bristol (BRS) which launched on 16 September. Flights from the UK capital will be flown thrice-weekly until October, when the route will be reduced to a twice-weekly operation for the start of the W15/16 season. Services from Bristol will be flown twice-weekly until October, with the 1,259-kilometre link returning for S16. Castellon now becomes airport 24 for Ryanair in Spain, including the Balearic and Canary Islands. Commenting on the launch, Alain Russel, Castellon Airport CEO, said: “At the moment, Ryanair are very happy with the forward bookings that they are currently seeing on both services to London Stansted and Bristol.” To see a further look at the opening of Castellon Airport, please read anna.aero’s live coverage of the launch.
