- Nok Air is growing its international network from Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK). On 1 October the colourful LCC launched a new service to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) in Vietnam. The 740-kilometre route will initially be served four times weekly by the airline’s 737-800s with service increasing to daily from 25 October. Competition comes from Thai AirAsia which already serves the market with three daily flights. Nok Air now offers four international destinations from Bangkok, the others being Hefei, Nanning and Yangon. A Yinchuan service will also launch in late October, followed by Hanoi in early December. In total this winter Nok Air will be operating over 100 daily flights from Bangkok Don Mueang to 29 destinations, of which 23 are in Thailand.
