Air Busan launches eighth Chinese route
- Air Busan on 18 October expanded its Chinese network with the launch of twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) flights between Busan (PUS) and Yichang (YIH). The 1,706-kilometre route will be operated by the airline’s 162-seat A320s until 26 November and face no direct competition. It becomes the airline’s eighth route to China from Busan joining Guilin, Huangshan, Qingdao, Taiyuan, Xi’an, Yanji and Zhangjiajie. In total the airline now operates a total of 22 routes using a fleet of 15 aircraft (according to planespotters.net), a mix of Airbus and Boeing narrow-body jets. For Busan Airport, this becomes the 18th Chinese airport with which it now has direct connections.
