Pobeda sets-off for Samara from Vnukovo
- Pobeda, Aeroflot’s in-house LCC based at Moscow Vnukovo (VKO), has commenced another domestic service on 16 October, with daily flights to Samara (KUF), Russia’s sixth largest city. The 861-kilometre route will face some friendly and hostile competition, as UTair (thrice-daily) and Aeroflot (five times weekly) both operate on the airport pair already. The LCC will utilise its 180-seat, 737-800 fleet for the new route. Aeroflot also serves Samara with 42 weekly flights from Moscow Sheremetyevo and four times weekly from Moscow Domodedovo. Furthermore, S7 Airlines operates up to four daily flights between Moscow Domodedovo and Samara.
