Spring Airlines launched a new route from Changchun via Yangzhou to Bangkok on 3 November. The service will operate four times weekly using the airline’s A320s.
- Spring Airlines has further grown its international network with the launch of new services to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK). On 3 November the LCC introduced four times weekly flights from Changchun (CGQ) via Yangzhou (YTY) to the Thai capital. The following day a thrice-weekly service (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) was added from Beihai (BHY) via Harbin (HRB) to Bangkok. The Friday service is dropped from mid-November. Both routes are operated by the airline’s A320s. This brings to eight the number of Chinese airports from which Spring Airlines now serves Bangkok with non-stop flights. In total the carrier now operates 45 weekly departures from the airport.
