Cutting the cake to announce the start of Ryanair’s new weekly Tenerife South to Wroclaw service on 11 November was Katarzyna Gaborec-McEvoy, Ryanair Deputy Sales & Marketing Manager CEE and Wroclaw Airport CEO Dariusz Kuś.
- Ryanair started weekly (Wednesdays) services from Tenerife South (TFS) to Wroclaw (WRO) on 11 November. The new route becomes the third operated to Poland from the Canary Island, joining existing flights to Warsaw Modlin and Krakow. Flown by the Irish ULCC’s ubiquitous 189-seat 737-800 fleet, the 3,787-kilometre sector will face no direct competition. This winter Ryanair will serve 16 destinations from Wroclaw, increasing to 21 next summer with the resumption of five seasonal services. The last new service the carrier began at the Polish airport was when it switched flights from Glasgow Prestwick to Glasgow at the end of October 2014.
