Vietnam Airlines starts 41st domestic route

On 15 November, Vietnam Airlines celebrated the launch of its 41st domestic route, a four times weekly service between Nha Trang and Haiphong, which will be operated by the airline’s A321s competing directly with VietJetAir’s existing service.

  • Vietnam Airlines on 15 November introduced a new domestic route with the start of four times weekly flights between Nha Trang (CXR) and Haiphong (HPH). The 1,017-kilometre route, connecting the country’s fourth and sixth busiest airports, is already served by local LCC VietJetAir, who also operate the route with four weekly flights. This brings to 41 the number of domestic routes operated by the Vietnamese flag-carrier and SkyTeam member.
