  • Garuda Indonesia has increased its presence in China with the introduction on 22 November of a new thrice-weekly service between Denpasar (DPS) and Guangzhou (CAN). The 3,574-kilometre route will be flown by the airline’s 737-800s and faces direct competition from China Southern Airlines’ daily service. Flights depart Denpasar at 23:45 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays arriving in Guangzhou at 05:00 the following day. The return journey leaves Guangzhou at 06:15 landing in Denpasar at 12:00.
