NokScoot launches fourth route
Passengers on board NokScoot’s inaugural service from Bangkok Don Mueang to Qingdao had a chance to pose with a special placard highlighting the fact. Qingdao becomes the airline’s fourth destination from the Thai capital after Singapore, Nanjing and Taipei
- NokScoot on 25 November began operating its fourth route, this time from Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK) to Qingdao (TAO) on China’s east coast. NokScoot will operate the service four times weekly utilising 777-200ERs. The 3,167-kilometre route is not served directly by any other carrier but indirect competition comes courtesy of Shandong Airlines, which operates a daily service between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Qingdao. NokScoot’s previous route launches were to Singapore (in May), Nanjing (in June) and Taipei (in October), while Tianjin services are scheduled to start in mid-January.
