easyJet enters four new ski routes
Santa chose not to use the aircraft steps when disembarking the inaugural easyJet flight from London Gatwick to Friedrichshafen on 12 December. He was welcomed by the Friedrichshafen Airport Team, including: Andreas Humer-Hager, VP Marketing & Communication; Stefan Liebenz, Manager Marketing & Sales; Claus-Dieter Wehr, MD; the easyJet crew; and Russ Smith, Ground Operations Manager Germany, Austria, Croatia, Poland and Slovenia easyJet.
- easyJet used the last seven days to start four additional ski services at three of its bases, Amsterdam (AMS), London Gatwick (LGW) and Lyon (LYS). The average sector length of these four routes is 892 kilometres – with the longest being the 1,273-kilometre sector from Lyon to Belfast International (BFS), while the shortest was the 724-kilometre link from Lyon to London Southend (SEN). The average weekly frequency of the new routes was just 1.25, with all flights being operated at the weekends. See how this airport’s FTWA competes against others from around the world.
