Cebu Pacific Air Cebu to Taipei
An impressive model of Taiwan’s famous skyscraper landmark Taipei 101 was baked in Cebu to celebrate the launch of Cebu Pacific Air’s thrice-weekly service to Taipei on 17 December. Preparing for cake-cutting duties are: GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation Chief Executive Advisor Andrew Acquaah-Harrison; Department of Tourism Central Visayas Chief Tourism Officer Judy Gabato; CEB Sales Director VisMin Agnes Gupalor; and GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation Chief Commercial Advisor Ravishankar Saravu. The Cebu-Taipei service was just one of three international routes launched on the same day by Cebu Pacific from three different airports in the Philippines.
- Cebu Pacific Air has introduced three new international routes from three different airports in the Philippines all on the same day, 17 December. All three routes will be served with between two and three weekly frequencies and will be operated by the airline’s A320 fleet. Two of the three routes are already served by other carriers, but the 1,666-kilometre link between Cebu (CEB) and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) is not operated by any other airline.
