Bogota Airport officially declared VivaColombia’s new Miami service open on 16 December with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony at the gate. In charge of the ribbon cutting is the airline’s CEO, Juan Emilio Posada.
- VivaColombia commenced services between Bogota (BOG) and Miami (MIA) on 16 December. The 2,432-kilometre sector will be operate four times a week according to OAG Schedules Analyser data, with the carrier operating the city pair with its A320s. The route will face direct competition from three airlines, namely American Airlines, Avianca and LAN Airlines.
