Alaska Airlines Orange County to Reno-Tahoe
Alaska Airlines launched services to Reno-Tahoe and Santa Rosa from Orange County on 16 March. Celebrating the start of services from the latter airport are: Orange County Airport Director, Barry Rondinella; Olympic Gold Medalist, Julia Mancuso; Orange County Board of Supervisors’ Vice Chair, Michelle Steel; and Alaska Airlines’ Director of Sales & Community Marketing, Jeff Etherington. Neither route will face direct competition.
Santa Rosa celebrated the start of services by Alaska Airlines from Orange County on 16 March by having Snoopy welcoming passengers to the wine country region. Inaugural guests were also presented with Alaska Airlines branded cookies. Flights will operate on the route daily.
Reno-Tahoe celebrated the commencement of Alaska Airlines’ flights from Orange County with this fantastic cake. Services on the 668-kilometre sector will be flown daily by Q400s.
- Alaska Airlines commenced services from Orange County (SNA) to Reno-Tahoe (RNO) and Santa Rosa (STS) on 16 March. The 668- and 695-kilometre sectors will be flown daily by Horizon Air’s 76-seat Q400s. “We are fortunate to have a world-class airport right here in Orange County,” said Orange County Board of Supervisors’ Vice Chair Michelle Steel. “Thank you to Orange County Airport and Alaska Airlines for connecting Orange County to even more destinations in Northern California.” Neither route will face direct competition. The result of these route launches means that Alaska Airlines now serves six destinations in total from Orange County according to OAG Schedules Analyser data, with the carrier also serving Seattle-Tacoma, Portland, Puerto Vallarta and San Jose del Cabo.
