Jetstar Japan began its second route to Manila on 1 April, this time from Nagoya. Flights to Manila from Tokyo Narita began on 15 March. This new route will face competition from Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific Air.
- Jetstar Japan has launched its second route to Manila (MNL). On 1 April the LCC began four times weekly flights on the 2,758-kilometre route from Nagoya (NGO) using its A320s. On 15 March the airline had launched flights to Manila from Tokyo Narita. Competition on the new route from Nagoya comes from Philippine Airlines (daily flights) and Cebu Pacific Air (four weekly flights). At present flights are only on sale on both routes to Manila until the end of June. For Jetstar Japan Manila becomes the second international destination from Nagoya after Taipei, which has been served daily since 12 December 2015.
