Shaheen Air International now serves Kuala Lumpur

- Shaheen Air International has used its recently acquired A330-200s to launch two new long-haul routes to Malaysia. On 15 April the Pakistani carrier began twice-weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) from both Karachi (KHI) and Lahore (LHE). The 4,442-kilometre route from Karachi is already served weekly by Pakistan International Airlines, while the 4,289-kilometre route from Lahore sees Shaheen Air competing for customers with Malindo Air (offering four weekly flights) and Pakistan International Airlines (operating three weekly flights).
