Edelweiss Air’s Zurich to Rio de Janeiro Galeao

Eager to cut this fantastic cake depicting the beaches of Rio de Janeiro is Edelweiss Air’s CCO Alain Chisari. Flights to the Brazilian city’s Galeao Airport from Zurich will be operated twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) onboard the carrier’s A330-300 fleet.

  • Edelweiss Air commenced services between Zurich (ZRH) and Rio de Janeiro Galeao (GIG) on 22 April. Flights on the 9,362-kilometre sector will be operated twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) onboard the carrier’s A330-300 fleet facing no incumbents, according to OAG Schedules Analyser data. Rio de Janeiro becomes the second Brazillian destination to be served from Zurich, with SWISS operating daily services to Sao Paulo Guarulhos.
