Allegiant Air arrives at Baltimore/Washington

Savannah Airport celebrated the start of Allegiant Air’s services to Baltimore/Washington with this fantastic three-tiered route launch cake. Flights on the 884-kilometre sector will initially operate twice-weekly on Mondays and Fridays, with days of operation moving to Thursdays and Sundays from 19 May according to OAG Schedules Analyser data.

  • Allegiant Air commenced operations to its latest destination on 29 April by launching flights to Baltimore/Washinton (BWI). The ULCC inagurated services to the Maryland airport from Cincinnati (CVG) and Savannah (SAV), two routes which will be operated twice-weekly. Both 689- and 884-kilometre sectors will be flown onboard the carrier’s fleet of MD-80s according to OAG Schedules Analayser data, with services to Cincinnati facing direct compeition from Delta Air Lines (11 times weekly). Savannah flights will face no incumbents. Baltimore/Washington will also see Allegiant Air offer flights to Asheville, Knoxville, Lexington and Tulsa, routes which will commence in the next few weeks.
