Monarch Airlines crowns the start of four new connections
- Monarch Airlines began operations on four new routes over the past 14 days, spread across three of its UK bases. The longest sector distance of the four services was on the airport pair from Manchester (MAN) to Tel Aviv (TLV), at 3,782 kilometres, while the shortest was the 1,714-kilometre link from London Gatwick (LGW) to Gibraltar (GIB). The average weekly frequency of the four new routes is three. All four routes are already served from some of the airline’s other UK bases – Tel Aviv from London Luton; Gibraltar from London Luton, Birmingham and Manchester; Funchal (FNC) from London Gatwick and Birmingham; and Malaga (AGP) from London Gatwick, London Luton, Birmingham and Manchester.
