On 4 May, Primera Air commenced its latest services from Billund to Nice and Barcelona, while the following day it launched flights to Venice Marco Polo. To celebrate, the Danish facility held a host of celebrations including a cake, and a ribbon cutting which was carried out by Anastasija Visnakova VP commercial Primera Air. While celebrating its new route from Billund, the airline also showcased where it already serves from the Danish facility on the inaugural flight banner for Nice.
- Primera Air commenced services from Billund (BLL) to Nice (NCE) and Barcelona (BCN) on 4 May, while the following day it launched flights to Venice Marco Polo (VCE). Services to Nice will operate twice-weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays), while Barcelona flights will be flown thrice-weekly (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays), with the latter destination facing direct competition from Norwegian (twice-weekly flights). Operations to Venice Marco Polo will be flown twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) facing no incumbents according to OAG Schedules Analyser data, with all of Primera Air’s new services being flown by its 737-700 fleet.
