Who says that the crew always gets forgotten with the route launch cakes! Turin Airport made sure that the Blue Air crew operating the first flight to Alghero on 16 May received their baked bonanza.
- Blue Air started its 10th route from its Turin (TRN) operation this week, and its fifth Italian domestic service, with a four times weekly service to Alghero (AHO) in northern Sardinia. The 512-kilometre sector, which began on 16 May, will be flown by a mixture of the Romanian carrier’s 737 family of aircraft. There is no direct competition on the city pair. By the peak of the summer season Blue Air will be serving 14 destinations from Turin, as it relaunches seasonal flights to Ibiza and new routes to Athens, Menorca and Palma de Mallorca all starting in early June.
