Malindo Air jets off to Johor Bahru

- Malindo Air began double-daily flights between Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and Johor Bahru (JHB) on 16 May. The short 249-kilometre domestic sector will be flown using the LCC’s 737-800s. The route is already served by AirAsia (28 weekly flights) and Malaysia Airlines (27 weekly flights). Malindo Air already serves Johor Bahru, which is close to the border with Singapore, from Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur Subang. This summer the LCC will be operating 35 routes including 23 from Kuala Lumpur’s main airport and a further eight from the city’s second airport.
