On 17 May Tunisair commenced services between Tunis and Prague. The Czech Republic airport celebrated the launch with a gift giving ceremony which was carried out by Fraj Ben Said, GM Austria and Central Europe, Tunisair, and Jiri Petrzilka, Member of the Board of Directors, Prague Airport. A ribbon cutting ceremony was also conducted by: Said; H. E. Mr. Mohamed Selim Hammami, Ambassador of Tunisia to the Czech Republic; and Petrzilka.
- Tunisair commenced services between Tunis (TUN) and Prague (PRG) on 17 May. The 1,506-kilometre sector will be served by the carrier weekly (Tuesdays) using its A320 fleet according to OAG Schedules Analyser data. The route will face no direct competition. Tunis becomes the second destination that Tunisair serves from Prague, with the carrier also operating a weekly service to Monastir. Overall Prague is now connected to five points in Africa, with the airport also seeing service to Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Djerba, as well as Tunis and Monastir.
