Jin Air seeks out new Saipan service

Jin Air becomes the third South Korean carrier after Jeju Air and Asiana Airlines to offer daily flights between Seoul Incheon and Saipan. Jin Air’s service on the 3,124-kilometre route began on 9 June.

  • Jin Air on 9 June began daily service between Seoul Incheon (ICN) and Saipan (SPN). The 3,124-kilometre route will be flown by the LCC’s 737-800s. Competition on the route comes from Asiana Airlines (daily flights) and Jeju Air (twice-daily flights). Saipan is the largest island of the Northern Mariana Islands, a commonwealth of the United States in the western Pacific Ocean. Saipan International Airport also has direct year-round links with destinations in China and Japan, with flights to the Philippines set to start shortly.
