Pobeda extends its European network

Pobeda extends its European network-2

The traditional water arch welcome greeted Pobeda’s latest route expansion into Europe, when it launched a twice-weekly service to Girona in Spain on 9 June.

  • Pobeda launched its seventh and eighth international routes this week, commencing operations from Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) to Girona (GRO) and Tivat (TIV) on 9 June and 12 June respectively. These routes join the LCC’s existing international network of Bratislava, Cologne Bonn, Larnaca, Memmingen, Milan/Bergamo and Paphos. Sectors to the Spanish city will be flown twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays), while weekly (Saturdays) flights will be operated to city in Montenegro. Both routes utilise the carrier’s 737-800 fleet, and neither route faces any direct competition. See how Girona’s FTWA competes against others sent in for this week’s Arch of Triumph.
