- Aeroflot has begun twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) services from Kazan (KZN) to Frankfurt (FRA), joining the SkyTeam carrier’s existing services to Moscow Vnukovo, St. Petersburg and Simferopol from the Russian airport. Started on 17 June, the 2,760-kilometre sector will be flown by the airline’s A320 fleet, and will face no direct competition. It is the only service between Kazan and Germany, The Russian flag-carrier already serves Frankfurt with four daily flights from Moscow Sheremetyevo.
