Baked to celebrate the start of Flybe’s new routes to Biarritz and Toulon-Hyères from Southampton was this French-themed cake. Both services will be flown thrice-weekly.
- Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has started operating two new summer routes to Biarritz (BIQ) and Toulon-Hyères (TLN) from Southampton (SOU) – the airline’s third largest base in terms of weekly seats (behind Birmingham and Manchester) ‒ for peak summer travel. Flights operate to the former thrice-weekly from 3 July until 25 September and to the latter at the same weekly frequency from 2 July until 12 September. Both services are flown by the airline’s 74-seat Q400 fleet and neither city pair faces direct competition.
