- Rhein-Neckar Air, the German regional carrier, was welcomed at Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) on 16 July for the inaugural flight of the new service to Sylt (GWT). Using a 31-seat Dornier 328, the airline will serve the route to the island in the North Sea weekly (Saturdays) until 17 September. Münster/Osnabrück is the first airport which Rhein-Neckar Air serves outside of the routes it operates from its home base in Mannheim, where it flies to Hamburg, Berlin and Sylt. No other carrier operates on the 309-kilometre sector.
