“Only four sleeps until our direct service to Brisbane takes off!!” This is the message posted on Fly Corporate’s Facebook page on 28 July alongside this image of some roadside advertising promoting its new route from Brisbane to Armidale, which started on 1 August.
- Fly Corporate, the Australian regional airline, has launched its second service from Brisbane (BNE), adding to its existing Coffs Harbour flights, namely the 377-kilometre domestic sector to Armidale (ARM). Flown by the airline’s 34-seat Saab 340 fleet, the six times weekly operation which started on 1 August, will encounter no direct competition. The airline will be starting its third and fourth destinations from Brisbane later this month, when it commences services to Narrabri and Moree.
